At the begining of time, when the Divine Force was creating Vestroia, he created this Bakugan to serve as the protector of that new-created world. Unfortionatly, the Darkness Force created a neutrality of this Bakugan, the Darkness Protector, that was suposed to destroy it, and then everything else. During the battle, the powers of the Shine Protector and Darkness Protector were equal, so it was forced to sacrifice itself to seal the Darkness Protector in a Dimensional Prison. As long as the Darkness Protector existed sealed in that Dimensional Prison, the Darkness Force was not able to do any harm to Vestroia.
