The Praeventores were Animal Cavalry in Zamorak's Armies during the 3rd Age. They consisted of various races, such as hellhounds, virii, and other large and uncontrolled beasts. They were not useful during battles, however after the enemy line had been broken they were released to chase down any enemies who may have tried running away from the battle, or after battles, they were used to kill any stragglers or survivors.
