Hugh Thomas Arthur Chidgey (1860-1941) was a local politician in the East End of London. Born in Shoreditch. In 1890 he became a vestryman for the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town. At the 1898 London County Council elections he was one of two Moderate Party candidates at Stepney, but failed to be elected.
