Bellbrook is a city in Greene County, Ohio, United States. The population was 6,943 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bellbrook was first settled in 1814. The name derives from one of the city's founders, Stephen Bell (eponymous with the local elementary school), and from the presence of many small Streams or Brooks in and near the town. Some of Bellbrook's former and current residents include actor and comedian Jonathan Winters, writer Erma Bombeck and professional wrestler Cody Hawk.
