Viktor Chernitsky was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Admiral, he was considered one of the greatest strategic minds of his time; however, he was to old for the prolong treatment when it came to Manticore, and died prior to the Havenite wars. His granddaughter, Veronika, also joined the Navy and was an officer by 1920 PD. (HH11)
