Fishing is a recurring side-game in the Breath of Fire series. Fish can be sold for relatively easy money, and are often useful items for healing or in battle. In Breath of Fire II, III and IV, fishing is the avenue to Manillo Shops, where the party can obtain early access to items as well as find unique items.
