Paula Garrett is the wife of Steve, the mother of Rick, and the grandmother of Alice May Doyle. She and her husband appear only in the season 5 episode, "Roz and the Schnoz". The Garretts were teen parents, for they had their son, Rick, when they were both 17, and they are, in fact, only 10 years older than Roz Doyle. Both Steve and Paula Garrett have huge noses, as did Rick prior to his surgery. Since Roz herself had surgery as a youngster for a number of 'defects', this increases her worries about what her daughter will have to contend with.
