Starfleet Special Expeditionary Assault Landing (or SEAL) teams are special forces units often assigned to Starfleet vessels during wartime or to ships deployed in hostile areas. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "True North", "Restoration") The department color of the SEALs' uniform is dark gray. SEALs who transferred from or are attached to other departments may instead choose to wear that department's color. SEAL Team Alpha-6 was assigned to the USS Pendragon during that vessel's assignment to the Demilitarized Zone in 2379.
