In terms of specifications, the XPT707FX is similar to the XPT700FX six-string also introduced in 2008, including the Gibraltar Custom bridge, DiMarzio pickups and neck-through-body construction. In 2009 the whole Xiphos line was visually updated with broader body bevels. Other specifications of the XPT707FX were left unchanged.
