Diana Samaras is a member of the New Amazons, sister of Penthesilea Samaras, mother of Hippolyta Drake and wife of Michael Drake, she is also the sister-in-law of Jake June. Not much is known about her early life but what is known is that she met Michael Drake in 2000 and by 2005, they married and had their daughter Hippolyta in 2010. In 2012, she lost her husband when he was killed by a Regenerador and retreated to keep Hippolyta safe from harm, then went back to kill the Regenerador and was successful. After her battle with the Regenerador, she was too badly injured to move and so she layed in the grass for 2 days and by the third day, the symbiote known as Styx managed to regenerate her injuries. Her memory was somewhat damaged and so she had gaps within it, so she didn't remember where
