Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv is an urban legend that began circulating in 2009. It originally spawned in Creepypasta as a meme, but context began claiming "It's a video, and those who watch it gouge their eyes out and mail them to YouTube's head office in San Bruno." These claims were merely dismissed until the video was removed from YouTube by one of the administrators. Rumors began spreading that the video had been removed because supposedly 153 people had gouged their eyes out and mailed them to YouTube's head office.
