Big Mountain Ski Resort is a ski resort located about 8 miles north of Whitefish, Montana and 17 miles north of the city of Kalispell, Montana. It is about 19 miles from Glacier Park International Airport. It is the second largest ski area in Montana, after Big Sky Resort. Once a small regional ski area, large condominium and housing developments near the mountain have increased its popularity.
