The GRX170L features an agathis body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez single coil pickup and a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge. The GRX170 is a right-handed version. The GRX170L was produced for only a single year.
