Réka Pigniczky (born February 18, 1970) is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American investigative journalist. A proponent of liberal values, she worked for the Washington Post, Time Magazine, and the Los Angeles Times among others. The daughter of a Hungarian dissident (and freedom fighter in the 1956 revolution), Pigniczky studied political science at the University of California, and later journalism at Columbia. She currently resides in California with her husband and daughter.
