Jim Raynor is a marine hero unit in StarCraft. He appears in the mission "The Jacobs Installation" and "Reign of Fire," though he can only be directly controlled in the former. He also appears in the bonus mission "Resurrection IV." Raynor has three times the attack power of a normal marine, and significantly higher HP and armor. The player should send him in first against large groups of enemies to draw and tank their fire, then use marines to quickly kill the enemy force while they focus on Raynor.
