Black throwing axe, like all throwing axes, is a member's only Ranged throwing weapon. To wield a black throwing axe the player must have at least 25 Ranged. As it is a one-handed projectile, the black throwing axe can be wielded with a shield or god book for protection or an off-hand weapon for offence. They can be obtained either by buying from the Authentic Throwing Weapons at the Ranging Guild, receiving as a reward from Treasure Trails, or trading with another player. Like the rest of the black equipment, it can't be smithed or for that matter created with any skill.
