Almost like a callback to Season 1 - Game 01, the first game of Mario Party 6 was played on a woodland based board, specifically because it was seen as a basic and even playing field, since next to no one had played Mario Party 6 before. All players had to quickly adapt to the day and night mechanic, no one knew how many turns each time lasted, so it was a bit of a guessing game until at about the half-way point.
