Sergeant Rawq Hahrdpleys was a gruff, intimidating figure in the Republic Army with over thirty years of military service. After years of combat duty in the Republic Army during the Mandalorian Wars, the sergeant became utterly inured to the horrors of combat during a months-long siege in a forest against the Mandaloraians. The experience stripped of him of a number of human emotions, including forgiveness, mercy, and empathy, as allowing such sentiments would have broken him due to the atrocities he had seen and committed in those woods.
