L'rita was a Human quantum astrophysicist on the Gamma Xaridian colony. She started shaving her head after coming to the colony. She was engaged to be married to Jak Eisman, but she and everyone else in the colony were killed when it was attacked and destroyed by Rithrim raiders in 2267. (TOS novel: The Disinherited)
