Chadway was assigned to protect Carl Hansworth during the Vail pro-am skiing competition. He urged Hansworth to drop out of the competition, especially after a fellow agent died protecting him. When Hansworth refused, Chadway was against involving the Angels, feeling that the job should should stay with his agency. Chadway worked closely with Kris on this assignment, and the two became rather fond of each other. Chadway admired her bright outlook, and determined to emulate it.
