The Entomopter is a novel 15cm to 18cm miniature aircraft with flapping wings, inspired by insect design. Its unusual flight characteristics make it suitable for aerial exploration of Mars, where a conventional aircraft would need to fly at 250 Mph due to the rarefied atmosphere.
