The three-revert rule prevents any editor from making more than three reverts on any one page within 24 hours. Total and partial reverts are both counted within the daily limit of three, as are reverts made to different material within the same article. This rule applies per editor, not per account. In the following cases, exceptions can be made to this policy to permit reversion as often as needed: If the reverts were under good faith, the offenders should be warned before taking action against their accounts.
