Edgar Ollis was a businessman and local politician active in the Twickenham area. From Bishopston in Bristol, Ollis moved to London where he established a lithographic printing business. He became a member of Twickenham Borough Council, initially as a Ratepayers' Association councillor, later joining the Conservative Party. He served two consecutive terms as Mayor of Twickenham in 1936-38.
