Entangling Roots can be found on clearings on the path through the Wilds mission. When a player comes near them, roots and plants will shoot out of the ground, blocking all exits from the clearing. When the creature is killed, the roots will wither, opening the way. Entangling Roots are often found in the company of several hidden Moss Scarabs and Life Pods. Some of them come out of the ground as soon as a player comes near and some when the Entangling Roots is killed.
