Yuan-ti are a race of monstrous evil snake-men. All yuan-ti seen in-game have a snake-like head, scaly humanoid upper torso and a legless, snake-like lower body. Yuan-ti are infamous for worshipping the demonic god SSeth and feeling deep hatred towards scales humanoid races. Usually inhabiting the jungles in the southern parts of Toril, they are rather uncommon in the Sword Coast. They appear in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal.
