The Royal Icqui Aquaria was the most famous public aquarium on Coruscant. It was located in the Hirkenglade Prefecture and covered many square kilometers, holding millions of creatures. Water was provided by the Deodurn polar pipeline. Many groups used the aquarium as neutral ground to meet on, since the recesses of the building were perfect for clandestine conversations and the number of visitors made attacks unlikely. Admission was 10 credits. After the Yuuzhan Vong invaded Coruscant, survivors on the planet used the aquarium as a food source.
