He is kidnapped off screen by Riordan Payne, an Olympic gymnast turned dealer in military secrets during "Chuck Versus the Truth", and is interrogated about where he keeps the nuclear codes. He is released by Riordan and told that the Truth Serum he's been given will slowly poison him and he only will be given the antidote in exchange for the Nuclear codes. Whitney is seen stumbling around in the street by Chuck, Sarah, Ellie and Devon and is put in a ambulance and taken to Westside Medical when he collapses. When Ellie arrives home from the hospital see reveals that he died.
