Proposition 19, also known as the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010, is a California ballot proposition which is on the November 2, 2010 California statewide ballot as an initiated state statute. It would take effect the day after the election. 11 California cities have local ballot measures on their November 2 ballot that would allow them to tax recreational marijuana if Proposition 19 passes.
