A Close Encounter of the fourth kind is a close encounter in which humans are abducted by aliens. Normally, an alien or group of aliens abduct humans and sometimes bring them to their ship. In some cases, the aliens preform experiments on the humans, and, other times, they take the humans around the solar system on a trip. Often, the abductions are just dreams or the product of the mind when in a coma. A famous alien abduction was the Hill abduction.
