Brassvines were plants that grew on Haruun Kal. The plants were named for the large, dull-gold thorns that grew from their vines. These thorns were almost as hard as durasteel, and were eaten by grassers. Once stripped of thorns, brassvines could be made into serviceable ropes, which the Korunnai often used them for this purpose. They were also used as nails.
