Left-Striped was a Sphinxian treecat of the Damp Ground Clan. He was the mirror twin of Right-Striped, meaning their fur markings were mirror images of each other, hence their names. He and his brother were scouting for their clan when they were caught in a forest fire and had to seek refuge on top of a large tree. Climbs Quickly, who at that time had bonded with the human Stephanie Harrington, heard their cries for help and brought Stephanie and Karl Zivonik to save them from their air car.
