Laniel is officially protected by Béarn and Saint-Édouard-de-Fabre, but 6 firefighters have access to basic equipment (ladders, portable pumps, hoses, etc...) to protect the territory before one of the two other fire departments arrive. The Service de Sécurité Incendie Laniel doesn't have any trucks.
