George Wilcken Romney (July 8, 1907-July 26, 1995) was an American businessman and politician. He was also the first president of the Detroit Stake (now the Bloomfield Hills Michigan Stake). He also served as a Regional representative and a Patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Romney was born to American parents in Mormon colonies in Mexico. His family moved back to the United States when he was a child.
