In a story she told Benjamin Sisko, Eris claimed the Kurillians' homeworld had been offered entry to the Dominion. When the Kurillians had refused, the Jem'Hadar had invaded the planet. The planet had quickly been seized after communications centers on the planet had been destroyed and the leaders had been executed. However, Eris was actually a Vorta, casting the entire story into doubt. (DS9: "The Jem'Hadar") The species was named on StarTrek.com, with the episode making no mention of it and Eris simply presenting herself as being from Kurill Prime.
