They are often worn as "nude" clothes. While worn with either the prince tunic, the female version of one of the stylish shirts from Balthazar Beauregard's Big Top Bonanza, the Plague Jacket from Sheep Herder, a Kyatt top, or a white or brown apron, it seems as if the character has no pants on. This is because these clothes cover up the shorts, creating the illusion of no bottoms.
