Daytona was shown with her brother and father and was a racer at the track where Cooper Lee worked/raced. In the episode she raced with Nathan, Lucas and her brother Garret. She also sang When the Stars go Blue which upset Nathan as Haley and Chris sang it was a duet. She had also known Nathan since when they were children.
