The Tyran system was an inhabited planetary system. A planet in this system, Tyrus VII, was the homeworld of the Tyrans, a space-faring humanoid species. Tyrus VIIa, a moon of Tyrus VII, was the location of the Particle Fountain Project in 2369. (TNG: "The Quality of Life" )
