Tumnus's Flute was a flute that Mr. Tumnus played for Lucy when she visited his cave, shortly after first arriving in Narnia. The music of the flute put Lucy to sleep. Tumnus had intended on then turning her over to the White Witch - a plan which he decided against, much to his own danger, as he was risking being charged with treachery against the White Witch for not reporting the appearance of humans in Narnia. Most if not all Fauns play the flute, as they enjoy the music, and use it to dance merrily with Dryads, Naiads and such.
