Prelates are robot-like in that their eyes act as both energy weapons and HUDs displaying objectives and orders as well as scanning their area of perception and assessing subjects of interest. They also demonstrate enhanced strength and resilience as they can quickly reboot if forced offline, making them persistent threats. While they can be destroyed by strong, precise attacks, they can simply be remade anew as the Core always remains intact. They also are capable of generating portals that appear similar to corrupted Super Warp Rings which allow them to travel through time and to alternate zones. Unlike the beings that their cores are extracted from, Prelates are incapable of feeling pain, nor can they experience emotions or think for themselves, making them autonomous, non-living weapon
