Mrs. Soellner is the mother of patient Natalie Soellner and the biological maternal grandmother of Rachel Cuddy. She is married to Mr. Soellner. She appeared in the episode Joy to the World. She was portrayed by actress Sherilyn Fenn. Mrs. Soellner was constantly at her daughter's side after she was admitted to hospital. She explained to the doctors that Natalie's behavior changed drastically after she entered puberty from a friendly cooperative girl to one who was always fighting with her and zealously guarding her privacy.
