Born in 2279, Piet Donner is a politician from Kirlawa for the Reformed Political Party, becoming an MP in May 2322. A committed Hoopenist he became the Ambassador to the Military Occupation Authority in Dorvish Uwakah in February 2337, and after the death of Jan Hoopen in August 2341 was widely expected to become the new Minister-President of Dorvish-Uwakah. However a bitter power struggle with fascist elements of the RPP ensued, and an assassination attempt in August 2342 left Mr Donner in hospital under a heavy guard. This left him unable to provide a figurehead for his supporters in the coup that followed.
