The Dragontal is a remote valley in the Dragon Mountains. It is very difficult to reach and only the old road which stretches from the Braa to the summit of Chiava winds it way through the valley. The valley itself is grassy but it is line by forbidding and jagged terrain. There are three narrow gorges - dried river beds - which lead out of the Dragontal: one goes eastward to Barefield, another westward toward Caingorn. The third, no one has ever entered and lived to tell the tale.
