The Greater long-tailed shrew tenrec (Microgale principula) is a species of tenrec in the Tenrecidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar, where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests or moist montane forests. Habitat loss threatens its survival.
