1st Platoon is among one of three platoons of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 42nd Infantry. Also known as Longbow for their recon patrols. Longbow was led by Lieutenant Matthew Baker and Gunnery Sergeant B.J. Jones. During the battle of Hera Longbow was caught in a number of misfortunes and heavy combat that left the platoon combat ineffective.
