The Lin Telepathy Translator, also known as the Lin Telepathy Converter and LTT for short, is an invention of the Linshi Monks of Lin’La’Se to benefit the Lin people. It was created as a means to allow the Lin, who are a strictly telepathic race, to converse with other species and respect the idea that some might find telepathic communication to be too intrusive. The devices come in many forms, but the most popular are in the shape of armbands or belts. Many times those unfamiliar with the Lin will easily mistake the LTT as simple jewelry or decoration.
