The crew runs into Oasis and Dr. Steve. Dr. Steve can control Oasis by speaking into a wristwatch and is training her to be an assassin. Conflicting explanations are given as to how and why Dr. Steve can do this. He claims he can control her mind because he built it, that she is a "controlled mind made human". As a demonstration of his control over Oasis, he orders her to fall in love with Torg, which she does. The she orders her to kill him, but Bun-bun and Kiki save him by shutting off the transmitter. Kiki accidentally sets off the self-destruct, and Dr. Steve and Oasis both die in the explosion.
