Various schoolteachers are known to have taught school in Hill Valley over the years. Although Clara Clayton may have been a teacher before she arrived in Hill Valley, she never taught there. Dexter Gore and Deborah Chambers taught at Hill Valley High School in 1955, and Mr. Arky was a social studies teacher there in 1985. It is unknown whether Mr. Strickland taught school before becoming the school principal at some point before 1955, but he was still enforcing discipline thirty years later.
