Orville Sherman (January 18, 1916 - October 1, 1984) appeared in episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. He played the recurring roles of Mr. Feeny on "Buckskin", Wib Smith on "Gunsmoke" and Tupper on "Daniel Boone". His film appearances include Home from the Hill, The New Interns, My Fair Lady, Dear Brigitte, The Singing Nun, The Reluctant Astronaut (with Don Knotts), Pretty Maids All in a Row, Westworld, Billy Jack Goes to Washington and Half a House.
