Camelot: The Legend was a 1998 direct-to-video animated film by Tundra Productions. The musical story begins with a middle-aged Arthur already king, and his illegitimate son Mordred in his twenties. In an interesting reversal, Merlin trapped Morgan Le Fay in a cave, where she plots with Mordred to take over the land. In the end, Arthur triumphs over treachery by knighting commoners to fill his army, and ends the tale singing about the happy ending flanked by Guinevere and Lancelot.
