The unnamed pianist provided keyboard accompaniment for the acts in the talent contest at The Queens pub in July 1993. Billy Nuttall and Bruce McDuff sang a song each before Jack Duckworth took to the stage to perform The Lady is a Tramp. The pianist also backed last-minute entrants Angie Freeman and Denise Osbourne - performing under the name 'The Soap Sisters' - on their impromptu duet of Fever, which won them the contest and the £50 prize.
